何春年，研究员，硕士生导师。兼任中国药理学会补益药专业委员会委员、中华中医药学会中药资源分会委员、中国药学会药学史专业委员会委员、中国中药协会药食同源物质评价与利用专业委员会委员、中国中药协会人参属药用植物发展专委会委员、内蒙古自治区蒙中药材种植标委会委员、教育部学位中心专家库专家以及国家卫健委“三新”食品评审专家等。

主要研究方向：药用植物亲缘学；中药及天然药物药效物质基础和质量评价研究；食药同源产品研发。基于药用植物亲缘学理论对包括芍药属、黄芩属、槭属、人字果属和苹果属等多种重要药用植物类群进行了较为系统的研究，丰富和发展了药用植物亲缘学理论，发现一批潜在的药用资源、有效组分和源头分子，为中药资源可持续利用、品质保障和新产品开发利用提供了有价值的线索与指导。开展了牡丹种子活性物质基础和作用机制研究，为牡丹食药资源综合利用奠定了扎实的工作基础。在健康中国的导引下，对我国药食两用物品进行了战略研究，对民间传统保健茶（别样茶）进行了系统性整理和挖掘，对丰富和发展我国茶饮资源、通过长期饮用茶饮等产品防治慢性及代谢性疾病具有积极意义。

获中华中医药学会科技进步一等奖1项、北京市科学技术进步二等奖1项。作为副主编或编委出版《南药与大南药》、《Dietary Chinese Herbs: Chemistry, Pharmacology and Clinical Evidence》和《Peonies of the World-Part III: Phylogeny and Evolution》等专著和教材11部。获中药材新品种1个，申请专利11项，已授权6项，起草并颁布中药材标准2项。在国内外学术期刊已发表论文170余篇，其中SCI收录70余篇。主持和参与中国工程院战略咨询重点项目、国家自然科学基金、国家中药标准化项目、科技部基础资源调查、国家“十三五”重大新药创制项目和中国医学科学院医学与健康科技创新工程重大协同创新项目等10余项。

担任《中国现代中药》青年编委、《Chinese herbal medicines》青年编委，Frontiers in Plant Science客座主编及国内外多个杂志审稿专家。入选2023全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单（斯坦福/Elsevier），2022年Wiley威立中国开放科学高贡献作者，获2023年北京协和医学院药用植物研究所优秀指导教师。
